XDOC SYSTEM OVERVIEW
XDOC can be deployed as a single server or multi-server fault-tolerant, high-capacity configuration using standard web server farm load balancing techniques.
XDOC communicates via secure Internet protocols and its native browser UIs require no Activex or Java, making it network and firewall friendly.
XDOC's scan client and print driver also work over HTTPS, enabling distributed document capture from branch offices and remote locations without expensive VPNs.
XDOC includes the industry's most comprehensive out-of-the-box support for document capture, including:
- Xerox, HP, Canon and other multi-function scanners and copiers
- SMTP gateway for directly emailing documents into XDOC
- FTP and document monitors for automatic document import
- Any desktop scanner with ISIS drive support
- Send or receive faxes via corporate fax servers or email/fax gateways
- Any programming language via XDOC's XML web service APIs
